We arrived around 11:20 and luckily didn’t have to wait. If you don’t like to wait in line, come right when they open is highly recommended. I love their pork garlic flavor ramen. The soup was really good. And I also tried the pork belly, and it was beyond my expectations! On my next visit to San Mateo, I’ll probably try again!

Small place, but ramen is just amazing! I got the spicy pork garlic broth and it was just amazing. We reached there around 7 pm and there was already a waiting. The server came outside to take our order of broth, its based on availability and I have read in reviews that they do run out of broth, so plan a little early dinner if you really want a specific broth. We waited for around 15 minutes before we were seated. Sitting is pretty basic and clustered. We were almost rubbing shoulders with our neighbors, that too on a weekday. But the Ramen made up for it all. I think this is the best Ramen I have had in a very long time. Will definitely go back to try their other broths.

The flavors are clean, fresh and delicious. You choose a flavor, then the spiciness of your broth and then your choice of (extra) sides. Service is efficient but not overly friendly. Cons- the menu is limited. There is Always a line. They don't even allow you to order 'to go'. Not a place for a 'romantic' date. People here wait, seat, eat then go. It's an extremely popular but small restaurant for about 35 diners. Even then, it's worth the trip (or the wait in line).

The stewed pork belly is amazingly soft. The taste is light with a bit of sweet flavor as well. The pork flavor broth is thick and adds additional layer of flavor to the ramen. In general, a good place worth to go.

Been talking about going here for a meal for years. Have seen the lines routinely and pass by. Well this time we arrived early on a Monday evening. They open at 5:15pm, but are taking orders from the start of the line a bit earlier. Pretty simple menu. Three different flavored broths, then you pick your spice level. Then do you want any extras or appetizers? Everyone in line around us also ordered the garlic pork broth. We were asked to enter at 5:10, and bingo they were ready. We were put at tables... and shortly our drinks appetizers arrived. A few minutes later our Ramen arrived. And even on a Monday at 5:15pm every seat was taken. And it wasn’t long and the line out front started to build again for the 2nd seating. It’s a regular ramen eating factory.
